3 to 10 years
Selected on vines aged over 30 years and matured in recent recent Burgundian barrels (1-5 years). It is soft and very slightly woody, in addition, it combines size and roundness in the mouth.
Limpid and crystal clear the Chablis Sélection Vieilles Vignes or Selection of Old Vines suggests a subtle floral frist nose with hints of honeysuckle. A few seconds of aeration confirm this elegance that's fully blooming on white peach and abricots aromas. A true Chablis like minerality appears in the mouth and wraps itself in the complexity implied by the work Old Vines put into producing grapes. The finale lingers recalling small Chardonnay grapes that favour an aromatic concentration rather than yield. A discrete oaky touch define and rounds the tension that is usually found in Chablis.
